September 21, 2008 - Batman Metamorphosis

As promised, just at the last minute, I have uploaded Batman Metamorphosis! This is the biggest undertaking of Dave Thomas Films to date. A huge cast, huge amounts of animation, just generally huge. Check it out under the animation page!

September 18, 2008 - Death Has Not Taken Me

Yeah... I didn't die. My apologies to everyone. As much as I like to post new content regularly, it certainly hasn't occurred. However, I have been busy working on many projects, one of which was just completed. Batman: Metamorphosis is officially done and will be posted this weekend for everyone to enjoy. It was a long, stressful, and annoying three months of work, but it is finally done. All 47 minutes of it. A new episode of Ask A Superhero will also be on its way this weekend. See you guys soon!

August 15, 2008 - Ask A Superhero Season 2: Episode 4

Finally Ask A Superhero Episode #4 has arrived. In this episode Spidey talks a bit about Batman and informs the viewers about where the heck he has been all this time!

July 13, 2008 - Ask A Superhero Season 2: Episode 3

Yet another brand new episode of Ask A Superhero Season 2 is now online. In this episode, Spidey discusses the horror film genre. Be afraid... be very afraid. And on a side note, nearly half of the animation for Batman: Metamorphosis has been filmed. Expect the completed film to hit the interwebs no later than August.

So it has been a bit more than a week since the first Ask A Superhero Season 2 Episode, but calm down! The new episode is now online. So I hope you enjoy it and Spidey has some plans for the forum. The next episode of Ask A Superhero should hit the interwebs by Sunday July 13, 2008.

June 28,2008 - Ask A Superhero Returns

As promised, I managed to get Ask A Superhero Season 2 Episode #1 - The Return online before midnight, go me! So enjoy it, comment on the forums, or youtube, where ever you may be watching it. In other news, Batman: Metamorphosis is coming along very nicely, a few of the voiceovers for characters have been completed and I have filmed about 15 minutes of the animation. I'll keep you posted with the progress of other projects and make sure you post your questions for Spider-Man in the forum!

May 28,2008 - New Stuff On The Way

So, it has been about a monthish, oops! I need to update more regularly. There isn't any new content yet, but I have been busy working on new tasty treats for you to chow down on. You might want to check out the About Us page. We have a brand new member joining the Dave Thomas Films team. Oh yeah, you're excited, I know! There are numerous projects in the works and for organization's sake here is a nice list:

• Harold - This is a brand new short film series that will star an old man and will follow him through his wacky... and elderly adventures. Get excited! It will be true stop motion glory.
• Batman: Metamorphosis - Yes, it is true, our greatest blocky superhero will be returning for a stop motion LEGO sequel! Expect the return of some familiar faces as well as some new ones. Construction should wrap up this Friday and filming will begin as soon as the final touches are put on the script.
• Ask A Superhero: Season 2 - Most people are excited for the return of this fairly popular series. I have been working on organizing numerous questions and I hope to receive many more for Spider-Man's return! You can e-mail them to me or you can post them on the forum... cause that's what cool people do! Expect his returning episode this June!

April 30,2008 - Organization, Formatting, and Bloopers

For starters, if any of you have had issues recently trying to watch, download, or enjoy the films, sorry... it was my fault. During the past couple of days I have been working on getting the best video formats for the site. Needless to say, I went through nearly 6 sets of conversions before settling on the new formatting system. The films are now streaming embedded videos on their own pages. The quality is still delicious, so no worries there, and the videos should load and stream much faster. You can also download any of the films by right clicking the (Windows Media) link or right clicking the video itself (Flash) and selecting "save as" or "save target as", something of that nature. I also organized the Films pages of the site in preparation for the upcoming Ask A Superhero season. You should like the new layout for them. Also, I have added some blooper reels for you to check out: The Lookout Bloopers, Origins Bloopers, and Zorro Bloopers. So, other than the stresses of getting those video formats figured out, I have been doing pretty well. How about you? Huh? What's that? I can't hear you. Hm... wait! I have an idea. Head over to the forum, register, and we can talk all you want! Sound good? Yeah, I freakin' know it does!

April 26, 2008 - New... Old Content!

Alright, here it is. I have just uploaded my very first full length short film from way back in 2006. It is called, "The Group". It was a fun production and definitely the one with the most preproduction work. Check it out! I also plan to add the disturbing and hilarious blooper reel... oh wait, I already did!

April 23, 2008 - Dave: A Big Fat LIAR

Whoa! This place looks different huh? Yeah... Alright, I know I said that I was done redesigning the site and clearly I lied. It's probably because my parents didn't raise me right, but what can you do? Nevertheless, here it is. Hopefully you will like it, if not, well... I don't know what to tell you. My latest news and blogs will be posted right here... where I am currently typing. If you are interested in past blogs just click on the News Archive link. Navigation for the entire site is on the left, including the forum. Are you a member of the forum? No?! Well you better register and start posting soon because soon enough your forum posts can affect future shows from Dave Thomas Films and there might just be some contests coming up! Or... I am lying. If you are having any issues with the site, complain via dave@davethomasfilms.com and I will either fix the issue, or be lazy. Most likely I will fix it. So, browse around!
